Zhongshan is situated in the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, just 118 kilometers from Hong Kong and 65 kilometers from Macao. With the recent opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link in 2024, all cities within the Greater Bay Area can now be reached in under an hour, while precious Hong Kong is merely 1.5 to 2 hours away. This remarkable accessibility makes Zhongshan an ideal location for our conference, inviting participants from all corners of the region to come together and share in this unforgettable experience.
中山位处粤港澳大湾区的核心地带，距离香港118公里、澳门65公里，自2024年深中通道通车后，一小时内可达大湾区所有城市，1.5小时-2小时可达香港。
Zhongshan boasts five major port areas and a well-developed expressway network consisting of "four vertical and five horizontal" routes. Within a 90-kilometer radius, there are five international airports and four deep-water ports, all of which provide efficient and convenient transportation options for fostering interactive exchanges among clubs in District 89. This exceptional connectivity enhances our ability to unite and collaborate, creating even greater opportunities for growth and engagement during the conference.

Zhongshan offers a friendly and welcoming urban atmosphere, a vibrant social community, and a wealth of educational resources, all of which have created a strong foundation for the growth of Toastmasters clubs.

The first Toastmasters club in Zhongshan was established in 2014. Over the past decade, this vibrant city has nurtured the growth of four clubs: Zhongshan Toastmasters, Zhongshan Torchlight Toastmasters, Xiaolan Toastmasters, and Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Advanced Toastmasters (with a prospective club: Zhongshan Parent-child Bilingual Toastmasters).
中山第一家国际演讲会于2014年成立，10年时间，中山这片沃土孵化了中山国际演讲会、中山火炬之光国际演讲会、小榄国际演讲会、大湾区创业者高阶国际演讲会4家分会（还有一家正在筹备中的分会：中山亲子双语国际演讲会）。
In Zhongshan, through club meetings and speech competitions, more than 200 Toastmasters members have been empowered to continually refine their communication and leadership skills.

The election of district officers, which is simple yet significant, and filled with both intensity and anticipation, will take place during the District Council Meeting.

At the Conference, the new District officers will be elected following a standardized procedure. They will assume their roles in the upcoming Toastmasters International program year, carrying the trust of the members and District mission.

The Gala Dinner of the Conference can be regarded as a dazzling annual festivity of the district! The venue is a glow with lights, exquisitely and tastefully decorated, and members show up in their finest attire. Everyone engages in lively conversations about their Toastmasters experiences while savoring the delectable cuisine.
峰会的Gala Dinner可以看作是一场超炫的大区年度盛宴！现场灯光闪耀，布置精致优雅，会员们盛装出席。大家一边品尝美食，一边畅聊在演讲会里的趣事。
This dinner is not only a platform for talented Toastmasters members to shine but also a golden social opportunity. You can mingle with friends from different clubs and citiess, expand your network, deepen the camaraderie among members, and spark creative ideas.

Each year's Conference dinner has a unique theme. The Macau Conference in 2023 had a "Fairy Tale" theme, the Haikou Conference in 2024 had a "Speech On The Beach" theme. What will be the theme of the Zhongshan Conference in 2025?
每年的峰会晚宴都有一个主题，2023年澳门峰会的主题是童话，2024年海口峰会是沙滩，2025年中山峰会的主题将是什么呢？
