Mandy joined the Toastmasters for 6 years and has been trained to be a mature leader by taking up different leadership roles.

2013 and 2014 were her fruitful year, she chartered the Ocean Toastmasters Club, organized a Speech Craft Public Speaking Training Course which successfully recruited 33 founding members for Ocean Toastmasters Club, organized 6 joint meetings with Clubs at different cities to broaden members’ horizon.  What Mandy enjoyed the most was leading a delegation of 28 Hong Kong members for a 4-day Cultural Exchange Tour to Taiwan.   This trip not only horned her management skills, trained her emotional intelligent, and also built up a strong bonding among members between the straits, gained insights and being motivated to be a better leader.  

With the belief of serving and learning, she took the lead of forming a team to bid for the hosting right of District 89 2015 Spring Conference that brought her up to a new horizon.

FC joined Centraler Toastmasters Club in 1998 and obtained Competent Toastmaster and Advanced Toastmaster Bronze in Nov 1999 and June 2001 respectively. He was a founding member of the Kowloon Toastmasters Club and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers Toastmasters Club.  Over the years, he was an excellent supporter and promoter of toastmaster’s activities in engineering profession. He is a Past President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers with over 30,000 members.  One of his keen interests was to promote and develop public speaking, communication and leadership skills for young engineers. Upon completion of his leadership role in the engineering profession, FC devoted more his time to the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers Toastmasters Club by taking up the President role in 2013-14 and Vice President, Education & Training role in 2014-15. 

He would like to serve and contribute to make the District 89 2015 Hong Kong Spring Conference a big success.

Rainbow was invited to join Toastmasters by her boss years before. She served in different roles of Club Officers in both in-house and community Toastmasters Clubs. Rainbow kicked off her Toastmasters journey at Aon Toastmasters Club. She actively broadened her horizon in the Toastmasters community after she joined Island Toastmasters Club. The greatest value she found in Toastmasters is the positive and supportive environment for continuous learning and development which may not be available in the real world. Being a passionate and dedicated Toastmaster, she endeavours to promote the value, benefits and practice of Toastmasters to the world, especially her home city, Hong Kong.

She celebrates her 10 plus years in TI with her active participation in the District 89 2015 Hong Kong Spring Conference. She is honoured to be part of the HK Conference team and is excited to paint the history of Toastmasters history of Hong Kong with the enthusiastic team members.
